I’ve just finished my very first feltamacallit! I decided to start making ornaments for our new Christmas tree and came across a pattern for a gingerbread man but I wanted to make it more my own and thought who better than my favourite character from the Shrek movies!

After some quick YouTubing on how to do embroidery stitching (thank you Wendi Gratz of Shiny Happy World!), I set to work cutting…

And here he is – my very own Gingy!
At around 10cm tall, he’s the perfect size for a tree ornament. I got a little hungry while stitching him up and had a nibble on his leg.
He’s not quite finished as I didn’t have any purple felt to make the gumdrop buttons so will update this post when I get it finished!
