Some good friends of mine recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary and I wanted to make an elegant card to commemorate the occasion. Silly me didn't realise until it was too late that the traditional item for a 30th anniversary is pearl so I could have made this in vanilla with pearls instead of white with rhinestones! Regardless, I still think it turned out alright and the happily married couple were thrilled with it.

This simple yet elegant design is my current “go to” card. It’s so incredibly versatile and can be used for almost any occasion. Each card is made up of mainly vanilla with a hint of colour and features a random ribbon and a matching flower embellishment adorned with a cute little pearl. I embossed a piece of vanilla a fraction smaller than the coloured layer and just cut it into three equal parts, being sure to keep them in order so it flows nicely. These super cute little notecards were very simple to make and literally took around 4-5 minutes per card. I used a plain white card base and embossed different coloured card for the bottom and matching designer series papers on the top, finished with a plain white ribbon and tiny paper flower held with a silver brad. The stamp used is from the ‘Petite Pretties’ set and was punched out using the ‘Petite Curly Label Punch’, both from the Sale-A-Bration promotion. The inside is left blank.
