I have been longing to use the ‘Because I Care’ stamp set since the minute I laid my hands on it and was able to find the time today to try it out. I was also able to try a few new techniques I’d learned off YouTube including using the blender pens, daubers and piercing tool. The blender pens are now in my top 3 favourite Stampin’ Up! products! I’ve been working on a fun project that I’m calling a “Goodie Gift Bag” (I’m using non-SU card until I get it right!). In the handmade gift bag is going to be a box of 6 notecards with matching envelopes, a gift box with two tealight candles, a set of four peg fridge magnets, a post-it note holder, bookmark, hand sanitiser gift box, teabag card and more. My sisters birthday was on March 26 and although I didn’t forget it, I didn’t buy her a gift so decided to make her a card in the hopes that she’d forgive me! I was quite pleased with the outcome and my sister loved it too which meant a lot to me.
